- As the name describes, Curcumin is the most powerful phytochemical antioxidant available on earth.
- Piperine is always recommended in combination with curcumin to increase the availability & absorption of curcumin in the blood for better results.
Mechanism of action of Curcumin:
A) Muscles Gain: It help in the management of exercise-induced inflammation and muscle soreness, thus enhancing recovery and subsequent performance in gym goer, body builder and athletes.
B) Antioxidant Effect: Curcumin increase the blood serum concentration of antioxidant such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), Glutathione peroxidase (GSH), Lipid peroxides which nutralisefree radicals, such as reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. In addition, curcumin is a lipophilic compound, which makes it an efficient scavenger of peroxyl radicals, therefore, like vitamin E, curcumin is also considered as a chain-breaking antioxidant.
C) Anti-inflammatory Effect: Curcumin has also been shown to suppress inflammation by supressing various inflammatory mediators.
How to Use:
- For Body Builders: 1 capsule twice a day strictly with milk.
- For Cancer patients: 2 capsules twice a day or as directed by the physician.
